In association with the Acutts Cares initiative, staff and agents from the Acutts Real Estate Group donated various household items to disadvantaged communities in Gauteng and the Greater parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal in commemoration of Mandela Day.

To commemorate the Nelson Mandela International Day on 18 July, Acutts Real Estate property professionals spend +67 minutes to give clothes, shoes and groceries to people from informal settlements in around Soweto, and in KZN donated various items to Caroline Goodier from the St. Agnes Church to be distributed amongst homeless shelters and children homes in and around Durban.

Mia Acutt, Acutts Real Estate Operations Manager said that she would like to thank each and every one who contributed and for the opportunity to give of our time to make a difference in the lives of the under privileged. “We believe that giving back to the community is one of the most important activities one can do, and at Acutts we are not only passionate about homes, but about the people who live, work and play in those homes in and around the communities in which we operate.”

Mia went on to say “We believe the greater reach, with the assistance of our employees and whether it be a small financial donation or the donating various items, all goes a long way to assist others in need. We believe that we need to do good in the communities in which we operate and we are very proud to be in a position to support and give back to the vulnerable and underprivileged. We sincerely thank all of our partners in this happy day we’ve created for those in need.”
